Tasting Notes

This is the product that makes Tuscany one of the most famous wine-growing regions in the world, thanks above all to a long tradition refined over the years. The grapes come from the municipalities of Montespertoli, Gambassi Terme, and numerous neighboring municipalities, where over 1,000 hectares of our members’ vineyards are cultivated. This acreage allows us to be the world’s leading producer of Chianti. Vinification is carried out using cutting-edge technologies that limit contact with oxygen and enhance all the characteristics of a Chianti. The resulting wine has a deep ruby ​​color. The nose is dominated by aromas of red fruits such as blackberry and raspberry, with hints of violet and iris. Full-bodied and savory, moderately tannic, with a pleasant aftertaste of red fruits. This wine pairs well with mixed grills, fine poultry, and cheeses.
